Snelgrove Ice Cream | St. George

  • Updated

Snelgrove Ice Cream has a new home in St. George, Utah. This ice cream company began in 1929 in Salt Lake City, and produced hand-made, creamy ice cream until 1990. The grandchildren of the original owners wanted to bring back the original Snelgrove recipe, so they opened a Snelgrove Ice Cream shop in St. George.

Snelgrove Ice Cream has lots of different flavors, as well as other ice cream creations such as milkshakes, sundaes, and ice cream nachos. We tried a few different flavors and all of them were delicious. Some of the fun ice cream flavors that they had were malted milk, peppermint chocolate spray, Canadian vanilla, M&M cookie dough, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate thunder, and mint brownie. There were quite a few more, and they change their flavors every month. I loved the strawberry cheesecake! It was so delicious!

The mint brown was yummy!

This local ice cream shop has a fun atmosphere and cute decorations. The workers were very friendly and let us try as many flavors as we wanted. We will definitely be back to see what new flavors they have next time we were in St. George.

We agree! Ice Cream is always a good idea!
We loved stopping in to check out Snelgrove Ice Cream.

There is no seating inside of the shop, so you will need to take your ice cream with you or enjoy it outside if it’s a warm night. This ice cream shop is located at 922 E. Brigham Road Building 4 Suite C in St. George.
