Many people have told us that we need to stop by the Roy City Christmas Lights at Memorial Park in Roy. We stopped by this light display and spent a little while walking around and taking pictures. The lights are plentiful, which makes the area really bright.

To find Memorial Park in Roy, go to 5065 S 1900 W, behind the Roy City Municipal Center. There is a parking area, but you should definitely get out and walk around. There are a few small displays on the buildings to the east (we liked the unique helicopter). But there is a nice place to walk in the park to the west. This is a perfect area for holding hands and sipping hot chocolate with loved ones. It is also stroller friendly, and the lights are bright enough and close enough for infants to enjoy.

After you walk though the park and check out the lights, head back toward the parking area. If you cross the parking lot to the southeast, you’ll find some other cool displays. There is a very bright tree that changes color, a beautiful pink tree with lights so thick it looks like cotton candy, and a few cool candy cane tunnels. Don’t miss walking over to this side of the display.

If you do not want to get out of your car, the Roy City Christmas Lights also have music playing over the radio. Tune to 90.7 FM. Every 30 minutes the lights sync in motion to the song being played. We missed seeing the timed lights, but we are definitely planning to watch this year.

Plan just 15-30 minutes to walk around this area. Make sure to watch your kids and be careful crossing the parking area. Enjoy the beautiful Roy City Christmas lights at Memorial Park in Roy. There are some other great Christmas light displays in this area. Check out our post about the Ogden Christmas Village and the Weber County Christmas Light Drive.
