When exploring St. George, we found a fun little park in Santa Clara. Canyon View Park has a fun playground that is great for all ages. We often play at this park while the older boys warm up to play baseball at the neighboring fields. If you visit, Jacob Hamblin’s home, and need a place to eat a picnic lunch, Canyon View Park in Santa Clara is the perfect spot.

This park has a few nice shade trees right by the park, which is great in warm St. George. The playground has a lot of climbing areas. In fact, it is the same playground at Union Park in Midvale. Our boys enjoy climbing all over at this park. There is also a small toddler playground to keep the young kids entertained.

One of the things that we love about this park is the scavenger hunt. There is a sign with 10 objects to find on the playground. The objects are mounted onto the playground poles, so as the kids wander around or play they will find the different animals. It usually only takes older kids a few minutes, but we still enjoy searching every time we visit.

Canyon View Park has a pavilion with tables, bathrooms, baseball field, grassy area, and drinking fountains. Down the hill are two other baseball fields at Little League Park. There is also a BMX track located next to this park, but you must be a member to ride on this track.
Canyon View Park, sometimes called Santa Clara City Park, is located at 1400 Canyon View Drive in Santa Clara, Utah.
