We love shady parks and this park is probably the best one yet! Rotary Park in American Fork has tons of huge shade trees. We couldn’t believe how many were throughout the park.

There are two playgrounds, which reminded us of Wines Park. One for the smaller kids and one for the bigger, although any kids can play on either one. We spent time at both. You can easily sit and see both playgrounds so supervising kiddos is easy. I liked the playgrounds because there was quite a variety of things to do, including some rock climbing walls that are always popular with my boys. There are also a few swings and some basketball courts.

Rotary Park also has two pavilions. Both are well shaded, and one is very large. You can reserve them through AF city. There are bathrooms and the park lies next to a baseball field so you could bring some equipment if you were interested. It wasn’t busy at all. We were the only kids on the playground, and the only other people we saw were some teenagers that skateboarded through, but didn’t stay.

There are benches around the playgrounds, and lots of grass to run around on, too. We played a fun game of hide and seek that was very interesting with all those huge trees to hide behind. My boys did not want to leave, and I had to promise that we would come back and have a picnic with Dad. Rotary Park is definitely a fun park to visit in Utah County. It’s located at 200 E 400 S in American Fork, which is just a few minutes off the 1-15.
