Today we went to see a replica of the house in the Disney movie Up! Our trip turned out to be more of a drive-by than a true adventure, but the kids were excited to see a “famous” house. The Up House is a quick stop, but a fun item to check off your Utah bucket list.
The Up House is a private residence, so you can’t go in, but you can snap a quick picture or two. Our boys love admiring all the bright colors and talking about our favorite scenes from Up!

Across the street is a little park, so you can plan for a picnic (not much shade, though) and let the kids play on the playground after you’ve seen the house.
The Up House is easy to find, just take I-15 to Bangerter Highway. Head west until you get to 13400 South. Go west until you reach 5195 West. Turn right and then take your first left onto Herriman Rose Blvd. The Up House’s official address is 13218 Herriman Rose Blvd.
This would be a great stop on the way to Crane Park in Herriman, or on a visit to the Kennecott Copper mine.
Such a bummer its a residence now. I have pictures from the inside if you ever want to see them, we went a few times last year. There was a toy story room in the basement with all the toys from the movie. Amazing!
Okay, this is too cool! We are TOTALLY going to go see this! 🙂
