Hee Haw Farms is a pumpkin patch located in Pleasant Grove and has a lot of fun activities. We have visited many years on preschool field trips and the kids are always so excited to go.
The most popular activity with the children was the huge slide. This was one of those massive gunny sack slides. My boys went on the slide over and over again. There are other activities, too: bean bag toss games, tether ball, corn pit, wagon ride, corn maze, and a straw maze. My boys always loving digging, swimming in, and jumping into the corn pit. They have also added a massive silo slide that goes speedy fast and is fun for older kids. There were plenty of activities to keep the children busy for a few hours.
Something else that we love at Hee Haw Farms is their petting zoo. Most places have animals to look at and pet through the fence. But here you walk into a large area with the animals, much like the petting zoos I remember as a kid. There were goats, sheep, and a few ducks. They also had pigs who had just had piglets to view, but not touch. We spent a lot of time petting the animals.
Hee Haw Farms had some places for photo options including cutouts for faces, as well as tractor rides and pumpkins. The pumpkin patch is a pick your own patch, so you head into the field and cut your own pumpkin. We love being able to cut it right off the vine, instead of just picking it up at the stand.
Something to watch for at Hee Haw Farms are events all year long. They have activities going on in the spring and summer. You can find more info on their website. There are also family specials on the site, too. Hee Haw Farms is located in Pleasant Grove. Take Pleasant Grove Blvd exit and head East. Turn left at the first light.
