On our last trip to St. George, we had a few hours after baseball games, and our team went to the pool. The Washington City Community Center Pool is awesome and had a lot of fun places to play for kids of all ages. Since St. George gets plenty hot, this will be a great place to cool off in the summer.
The Washington City Community Center Pool reminded us of our local Lehi Legacy Center Pool. They both had similar set ups and play features, and everything is indoors! So you can enjoy this pool all year long.

The main area of the pool has a little playground in it. This play area has squirters and places to spray others. But the highlight is the large dumping cup. This cup fills up above the playground and every few minutes it dumps over the top of everything. Our boys love to sit underneath and get soaked. The area around this playground is very shallow, so young kids enjoy the area.
The water gets a little deeper beyond the rope, but not more than about 4 feet. Most kids splash around in this area, dive for sticks, or throw a ball. There is a lazy river, too, which is a big hit for older kids.

Washington City Community Center Pool has a slide. This slide begins inside, but the tubes go outside and twist and turn before chuting back into the indoor pool area. Our boys said this slide was a really good one!
There is also a small toddler area. This area has a really small slide, a few bouncy swings, and very shallow water. So if you have young ones, this is a great spot to hang out.

One other feature of the Washington City Community Center Pool that impressed us was the snack shack. They had a lot of options at an affordable price, and they were all good. We loved their pretzel bites and had to order more. They had pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, drinks, ice cream, and more. And they let you eat along the pool deck, which was really nice.

This pool also has an outdoor area with a splash pad (that wasn’t turned on when we visited). There are also nice picnic tables and a pavilion with a barbecue if you ever rent the pool for a party.

The Washington City Community Center Pool is a great place to spend an afternoon. We can’t wait to go back and swim again. Located at 350 Community Center Drive in Washington, Utah.
