Our friend showed us how to make the best s’mores in the world. She calls them Mexican s’mores because they are wrapped in a tortilla. Not only are the s’mores MORE delicious than traditional s’mores, they are less work and less mess.
Here’s how to make them:
Rip off a 7″ piece of tinfoil. Place a 6″ flour tortilla in the middle. Spread peanut butter across the tortilla. Sprinkle chocolate chips and marshmallows on top. Gently roll the tortilla up like a soft taco. Then roll the tinfoil around it and fold the ends of the tinfoil up. Place it near the fire until everything melts. (Put it pretty close– You’ll need tongs to do it right.)

We loved it so much we tried some other concoctions, too. We used peanut butter, Nutella, milk & white chocolate chips, M&Ms, bananas and several flavors of marshmallows.
Give Mexican S’mores a try on your next camping trip!

We tried the ‘Mexican S’mores’ this weekend, and we LOVED them! New family favorite! I’m so glad, too, because I am not a big s’mores fan! We used peanut butter, hershey’s chocolate bars, marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers (my kids couldn’t live without the graham cracker!). #farewellmessysmores!
I love the graham cracker idea! Thanks for sharing. We are glad you enjoyed them.
