Riley’s Christmas on the Farm

Riley’s Farm in Genola (way down southwest of Payson) has a fun, and very affordable Christmas activity. We love spending time on the local farms at Christmas time. Riley’s Christmas on the Farm is perfect for spending a little quiet time on the farm for a date night or family night.

Riley’s Family Christmas has a wagon ride pulled by a tractor. The wagon ride passes by some lights while you listen to one of the family’s favorite Christmas stories. It shares a lovely message about caring for others. Our favorite part of the ride is the new light tunnel that you pass through. It was a fun addition this year.

We love that the wagons are decorated, too.
Make sure to bundle up because it will be chilly.
The light tunnel and star are a great addition.
The trees are lit up along the back of the farm.

After the wagon ride, make sure to say hello to the farm animals. Our boys enjoy talking to the animals and petting them if they are in the mood for it. We also like to take cute photos with the photo backdrops and props that they have around their farm.

There are a few animals to visit with at the farm.
There are cute displays to take photos with.
We definitely tried them all out.
We like to support local farms.

Also new this year, Riley’s Family Christmas added a light show in their greenhouse. The lights are along the walls and ceiling and they are set to music. We had fun watching the lights dance back and forth. There are heaters inside, so it was nice to step inside and warm up for a minute. It would be fun to bring your donut and cider in here to enjoy and watch the lights at the same time.

The light show in the greenhouse is fun for the kids.

Included in your admission ticket is a donut, so make sure to head into the barn to enjoy fresh, homemade donuts. We always like to buy hot cocoa or apple cider to go along with it. The cider is so appley and just perfect for warming you up after the chilly wagon ride. Inside the barn you will also find little crafts, other treats, and cute Christmas decor for purchase. We like to grab some fresh apples.

The treats are yummy at Riley’s Farm.
Make sure to walk past all of the cute craft kits. We bought a few to take home.

Riley’s Family Christmas is only $7/person or $35/immediate family. This is such a small admission fee, and it’s a little quieter activity. There aren’t any crowds, and we love the simple, farm atmosphere. More details on the dates and times on their website.
