Are you ready for Christmas activities? Many tickets are already on sale and some events begin before Thanksgiving, so we want to share our big list of Christmas Activities Utah 2021 out to you as soon as possible. Now you can start planning your holiday season.

This year we organized our list by county to help you more readily find activities near your home. The counties are listed generally from north to south in Utah. Since we live in Utah County, you will notice that we have visited many more spots in Utah and Salt Lake counties. Cache County

Christmas in Downtown Tree Lighting and Parade (Logan): November 27 at 4:30-7:30 (4:30 Santa arrives, 5:30 Tree Lighting, visits with Santa until 7:30 FREE

Zootah Christmas Lights: (Logan): November 27-Dec.18 (Th, F, and Sat). 4:30-8:00 pm at Zootah with reindeer encounters. Free cookies and hot cocoa.

Gingerbread House Scavenger Hunt (Logan): Dec. 6-25, 2021 FREE

Parade of Gingerbread Homes (Logan): Dec. 4-31. Walk around downtown and vote on your favorite gingerbread creations. FREE

Sleigh Rides on the Farm at American West Heritage Center (Wellsville): Dec. 4, 11, 18, 20-23, 27-Jan. 1. Tickets include sleigh ride, cocoa, and sledding hill.

Rocky Mountain Outfitters Carriage Rides (Jordanelle State Park): Sleigh Rides through the lights all the way through winter. So you can do this adventure after Christmas, too.

Follow His Star Creche exhibit (Midway): exhibit of over 500 creches. Friday-Monday 1-7 pm through Dec. 20.

North Pole Express (Heber) Nov. 22 – Dec. 23. Ride the Heber Valley Railroad with Santa. Cocoa and cookies provided.

Christmas Town Utah (Helper): No dates yet. There are many events and tons of lights in Helper since it is know as Christmas Town Utah.

Iron County

Christmas on the Farm (Cedar City): November 26-27, Dec. 4, 8, 11, & 15, at 10-4. Tickets required

Christmas on the Farm Live Nativity (Cedar City): Dec. 6, & 13 at 6-8 PM. Tickets required

Christmas at the Homestead (Cedar City): Frontier Homestead Museum has decorations, including the Twelve Trees of Christmas. Dec. 11-24. Admission Free after 5:00 PM for the light display.

Tree Lightings and Santa Arrivals

Christmas In Dixie Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony (Washington): November 29 at 6-8 pm at Veteran’s Park. FREE hot chocolate and doughnuts and wagon rides.

St. George Town Square Tree Lighting: November 29 at 6 – 8 pm FREE Santa will be here!

Light Displays

Christmas in the Canyon (St. George): Nov. 26 – Dec. 23 at 6-9 PM. Lights, train rides, live Nativities, and Santa.

Red Hills Desert Garden Lights (St. George): Nov. 26-Jan. 2 at 5-10 pm.  FREE

St. George Gingerbread House Parade (St. George): Nov. 29-Dec. 11 Different businesses have gingerbread houses on display. Map coming soon of where to visit.

Hedgehog Electric Christmas Light Display Map: this map of St. George Christmas Lights isn’t out yet, but we will update this link once it is ready–the link currently goes to the 2020 list.

Rides

North Pole Express at Thunder Junction (St. George): Every Friday, Saturday, and Monday for the first 3 weekends in December from 6-8 PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the St. George Leisure Services Office, starting Nov. 22nd, 2021.

Holly Days Festival (Vernal): November 26: A day full of fun, FREE activities throughout the Vernal area including a light parade and fireworks.

    There’s a live nativity and display of small nativities in Payson. It’s called the Payson Community crèche on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4. I think there’s live music as well.
