American Fork Pool

One of the most popular pools in Utah County is the American Fork Pool at the American Fork Rec Center. We visit the American Fork Pool every summer and usually lots of times!

The main reason that we love this pool is because there is so much shallow water. Both of their large pools have very shallow water (just inches deep) so toddlers can play just as easily as the big kids. One of the pool is large and has one small slide into the water. The other pool has a play area with a few slides and spray toys.  There aren’t a lot of fancy toys in this pool, but the amount of shallow water makes up for that.

There is also a large slide, and a lazy river. My older boys mostly hang out in this section of the pool. The slide down the red slide, take a few turns around the lazy river, and then back down the slide.

My boys always like to play at this pool. It is about the same price as every other pool around ($4/adult, $3.50/child ages 4-17). One reason I like the American Fork pool is I feel like everyone is very friendly and nice here. They always answer my questions or help me find someone who can.

We have had swimming lessons at the American Fork Pool lots of times too and we are always pleased with our teachers. Also, my children are afraid of the dumping cup at the Legacy Center pool, so they just freak out if we go there.  I’m thinking that since they are bigger, we could give it a shot again.

 

The pool is located at the American Fork Fitness Center at 454 N. Center Street. Public Swim hours begin at 12:30 pm each day.
